Campaign Day - Sutton and Cheam

A Campaign Day took place on Saturday 31st January with Philippa Stroud, PPC for Sutton and Cheam. The day was a great success as the CCF was out in force; over twenty members turned up to support Philippa.  Philippa said “What an amazing day! 38,000 pieces of literature delivered and with a lot of fun had by all. Thanks so much to the CCF – you were fantastic.”

After a day of distributing leaflets we were all invited to Philippa’s home for supper. This gave another opportunity for CCF members and all of Philippa’s supporters to chat, and eat some great food.

Manchester Breakfast Meeting

On Thursday 29th January Elizabeth Berridge held a very successful breakfast meeting in Manchester with local church leaders.  The meeting gave the opportunity to build upon existing relationships and make new ones in preparation for the Party Conference in October.

We are delighted that the church leaders are keen to work with the CCF during the Party Conference.  The discussions that took place ranged from talking about holding an event of a similar size to the Annual Church Service held in Birmingham, which attracted over 700 people, to possible topics for the CCF Fringe Events.
