June 2007

Final weekend of Under 35s Development Programme 2006/7

During the last weekend in June, the participants on the CCF's Under 35s Development Programme concluded the five-weekend course by dazzling three expert panelists with a range of impressive policy proposals. Based on course learning, the presentations were each scrutinsed for consistency, coherency and clarity.

The weekend rounded off a fantastic year of leadership training, relationship building, and thought development. Here is what some of the participants had to say about this year's Programme:

"The programme was the best personal development course I have ever been on. The mix between learning life skills, debating politics, having fun, fellowship and support in our walk with God was excellent." - Kitty, University Researcher and Urban Community Councillor, Bedford

"People-wise, I developed good relationships with fellow Christian Conservatives and met great guest speakers over the course of the year. In terms of intellectual and spiritual development, the programme ensured I spent some serious time reflecting on my beliefs and approach to politics." - Sam, journalist, London

Applications for the 2007/8 programme are now open. See the What's On page for more information on the programme and how to apply.
