Firstly we exist to train, equip and support our members. The CCF offers a development programme to those who are under 35 and beginning or thinking of a career in politics. For the past two years, the CCF has offered a Local Councillors’ Training Day and encouraged the CCF membership to support all those standing in local and regional elections. The CCF also seeks to encourage those applying for Westminster and European parliamentary seats.
Secondly the CCF provides a relational bridge with the Conservative Party.
Finally, the CCF is a fellowship founded on prayer. The key foundation of the CCF is its relational strength and prayerfulness. Each month, when parliament is sitting, the CCF holds a prayer meeting to pray together for the Fellowship, parliament and the nation.
We also have a wide denominational diversity. Our members come from many denominations and include Catholics and those who worship in a Black Majority church
For many years the CCF has been hosted within Conservative Campaign Headquarters. This is an enormous privilege and we aim to be the best servants of Christ and the party.
